Nick Robertson

Nick is a third generation filmmaker who has been working in the industry for over twenty years. He began his career in Sydney as a photographic assistant working for a large commercial studio. In 1995 he graduated from the UCLA Film School in direction and threw himself vigorously into the Australian advertising scene. Nick has worked at both Radical Media and Plaza Films, the two iconic production houses. His natural talent for visual effects and storytelling are now part of their folklore. Nick’s career has produced magic for brands like Ford, Toyota, McDonalds, Infinity, Lynx, Mountain Dew, Mitsubishi, Audi, VW, Mail Plus, Smirnoff Ice, NBN Co and Subaru. He also finished a series of campaigns for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia through Goodby Silverstein, San Francisco and M&C Saatchi, Sydney. Nick’s forte in visual effects can be seen in his films, right from car commercials to those for liquor. His way of handling humour is amazing too, subtle and memorable, as the penny drops at most unexpected moment. Nick today is exclusively represented in India by Foureyes Films.
